Grand Cherokee coil spacers in Cherokee.
Hi guys, new to the forum.
I have seen on previous comments something about swapping the actual springs to provide additional lift.
I wanted to ask if you know if coil spacers that I used to have in a 1998 zj will work in a 1991 xj?
Thanks,
Ben

I know the ZJ coils from a V8 ZJ will give 1-1/4" lift to a straight 6 XJ. I'm pretty sure those spacers will work too. I actually used some poly spacers I bought (used) that were 1-3/4" for a total lift of exactly 3".
Don't forget to extend the bump stops. I used some big rubber mallet heads cut down to 3" and gorilla glued down inside the coils. Been working fine for two years now, and no sag. Not expecting any either.
