Got a new jeep with tons of questions!
1. I'm leaking some type of fluids around transmission badly. Any ideas?
It's all over transmission and dropping alot from transmission pan.
2. Jeep is rough to get in and out of 4wd low and high. Then when it goes it won't stay in 4wd high or low without me holding the lever back. Any thoughts?
Just purchased this thing from a chick. It's a 1995 Jeep Cherokee HO. Decent shape but needs some tlc.

what color is the fluid? just drive it for a bit and see what needs to be filled back up
a very common leak is the rear main seal. but it can commonly be mistaken because that is where many other fluids leak down to and drip off
there's a couple other places you should check for leaks first before replacing RMS

tranny fluid is a red-ish color. like said above i would wipe everything off and try and see where its coming from. it could be alot of things. also before you drive it make sure there is tranny fluid in it so you dont damage anything(obviously)
