we ran the old mt/R's on the tj, i loved them, and from what i gather is that this is an improvement over those big time. also it seems that people who have run both km2's and MT/Rs are recommending the MT/Rs

I think the kevlars are way better than km2s.. Everyone hates me for it but I've had both and the kevlars hold up better in rocks deep mud, clay, and snow better. And they get more miles of usage too.

Also they're excellent on the roads, I can take a turn in the rain that would have me in a spin out with any other tire no problem. And it's relatively quiet on the highway, louder than AT's I'm sure, but not bad at all, it really doesn't feel like an offroad tire on the road, plus I've had mine for about 2 years now and the treads are still deep, it's gotten plenty of miles and maybe 5 trips to Hidden Falls, plus other wheeling.
Plus I'm just a sucker for the tread pattern, it just looks awesome to me... oh yea, at most I had them aired down to 8 PSI with no signs of slipping with no beadlocks. (I busted a valve stem, had nothing to do with the tire.)

my friend runs them in 35x12.50 on his TJ. one had a steel belt fail and it would never balance again, but everyone I know with any goodyear has had that happen, and it can happen to any radial. If I was going to run radials on my jeep, I'd get the kevlars

I also run kevlars in 33x12.5. They are awesome. After these are done with I will get the same tire in 35. They take some serious beating from me and I am 100% sure that km2s sidewall would have ripped open where the mtr's didnt.
