I am thinking of buying these 2 jeeps and making 1 legal rock crawler out of the two of them.....But what i need to know is it possible and does it seem worth it???
This is the 1st jeep and the info.
1987 cherokee 4 door
4.5 stroker motor came out of 99 TJ
Auto tranny
231tcase
Dana 30 front with 4340 yukon shafts stock gears (unknown locker)
Dana 44 rear stock gears (welded)
34" LTBs on rockcrawler rims 95%
Heavy duty control arms
Heavy duty steering with heims
Interior is in decent shape
No title trail rig only
Needs: Rear ring and pinion and fuel pump
$1500
not the best pic in the world

And this is the 2nd jeep, legal with title.
1987 cherokee with 4 inch skyjacker springs and skyjacker lower adjustable arms. it was running when i sold it, i got it back not running and haven't looked at it. rear dana 35 is busted also. i have other rear ends i can put in it, just haven't gotten around to it. 6 cylinder, auto, 231. laredo, power windows and locks. asking 1000.00 as is. if i get it running and swap out rear ends, price will go up. also, tires are shot.

In my mind i am thinking of sell my 97 cherokee in order to buy these 2 cherokees. Then i will take parts off and make one cherokee then the remaining parts, axles, t case, motor, trans, doors , ect... i will make money back.
once done i should have a 4.5L stroker, dana 30 with locker, yukon shafts, dana 44 welded. and i will be able to cut/weld/paint this one.

Why is there no title on the one? No title no deal, you could have some major headaches without a title even if you never see pavement with it.

The one with no title is the one with all the good stuff, so thats why i want the other one with a title so that i can take all the parts off the one with no title put them on the one with a title and have a bad *** cherokee with a title. Then i will part out, cut up, and scrap the other one.
I say go for it chrisquested, both seem solid on the outside. The one with the title I would definitely swap the interior out with the other without. Do a rebuild on the 2 motors and definitely sell the other or just keep it for future use!
Clean up whatever you don't use and part it!

Another nice thing about it, granted I am assuming you checked this already, is if one floorpan is ruted, you can cut and weld from the other. The price seems a little high as in I would tell him 2K for both right now, but yeah, might as well, then you have spare parts, can make half doors with the doors from the other, have springs for any future bastard pack possibilities, and if steering is squirly on one and fine on the other, just switch out the steering stuff. I would go for it, and try to talk price down, but be willing to pay what he is asking.
I love digging into broken vehicles and fixing, and this sounds like a lot of fun...

But i got people telling me to keep my current jeep...
adding lockers to it and wheeling it....
this is how my current one is sitting.

keep current jeep for sure.
first one posted, without title, maybe worth 800 bux for the parts.
second one, i wouldn't pay more than 200 (scrap price).
