going up to 6.5"
Hey guys i have a 4.5 rc short arm kit on my 98 cherokee, im putting 2 inch coil spacers up front and 2 inch blocks in the rear this weekend. I just bought the ca drop kit from rubicon express and plan on getting a adj track bar also (iro double shear kit). Would there be anything else i need to upgrade steering wise or suspension wise? Thanks in advance Evan

suspension wise you should ditch the blocks and get some
shackles instead. blocks ruin ride quality and can cause axle wrap.
not only are shackles relatively cheap but they will allow the RUFF country springs to actually flex and give u a better more comfortable ride
depending on your shackle angle relocation brackets as well

X2 on nixxing the blocks, i know its a quik an easy way to lift, but its also a quik n easy way to crack your leafs.... ask me how i know!!! At least get a 2in add a leaf, youll be better off.. trust me, quadratec wouldn't warranty 3 wk old spring packs due to evidence of blocks.. just me 2 cents is all! Good luck!

You'll need longer shocks as well. You may end up with some vibrations and have to do a bandaid fix like a t-case drop or fix it with a SYE and new rear shaft.

There are lowering shackles at your local auto parts store that offer 2 different heights for lifting. You will need to take a grinder or a hacksaw and trim the upper center tube on those shackles to for inside the spot on the top part of the jeep. The spring pack may need some spacers due to ttyhe shackles being slightly wider than ttyhe leafs. Could be done for around -$30-$40 bucks.

Well the lift I got from rc came with 2 inch shackles and a aal besides that I have stock spring packs. I'm thinkin abt going with the 4.5 inch leaf pack from rc considering I already have the two inch shackles, blocks were just like one of you said a quick easy way to lift but seeing that it will cost me in the long run I might as well go with the full leaf pack
