Default Going Keyless

Real simple question here-

Has anyone found a starter switch that will fit the GM column?

I will contact Flaming River tomorrow but based on the prices for columns with the switch or the keyless system, I can only imagine what they will want for the switch....if they even sell it separate?

Remove tumbler, bypass factory ign. switch, install a button that fits?
More than likely you will need a toggle switch for power as well.

Flaming River does not sell the button separate from their system.

I'll figure it out.

As for the balance of the keyless ignition? got that figured out.......no fob, no module...........old school style.

I'm in and out of my truck throughout the day, from job to job or supplier to supplier.

I have a terrible habit of leaving my keys in the truck.

I hate to have anything in my pockets other than my wallet.

Also, when I find my 97+ doors, I want only the single key to the truck......doors, no ignition.

As for daily operation- I plan on using a headlight switch at the cig lighter location...***** look identical.... single pull for ACC and second pull for run+ACC........simple enough.

I plan on a kill switch elsewhere to disable the truck entirely.......not worried that some idiot will figure it out.

I used my cigarette lighter as a push button for my train horn. I'd have a switch somewhere either in a group of other switches (hidden in plain sight) or somewhere actually hidden for the acc and then use the cigarette lighter as the start. The headlight switch doesn't spring back but a cigarette lighter will.
