Thanks for being extremely rude. I didnt ask you what you thought of my idea, the words/symbols I want to apply match my personality. As you can see from the way my jeep looks now, and just the general idea of a ghetto spray paint paint job, I don't really care about my jeep looking pretty. Nor do I care what ******** like you think of me, so you can take that bike and shove it up your ***.

Anyways, @jbsjunk no thats not my bronco in the background, I live in an apartment complex and that guy has a few classic cars parked around that are pretty nice.

@kps, thanks for the tip, if/when I do decide to do this, I'll be sure to look for that kind of sandpaper. I don't own a compressor of any kind though, but I'll consider looking into it as an alternative to cheapo spray cans.

@jronald, thanks for the links, I'll ask my mechanic if any of these places are worth the money, since I don't have a lot to spend right now.

Thanks everyone (except xjmafia) for your help, I think I'll just wait until I get my new tires/shocks/clutch fan squared away before I get into cosmetics. I know when I get an idea I want to do it right away, but I know the smarter choice here would be to hold off for a bit. I'll be sure to post up some pictures whenever I do decide to get it painted =) Thanks again folks, to be continued...

May I make a suggestion and just paint the jeep one color. If you do this paint scheme you will attract attention, not the good type.
You will always be in the eye of local law enforcement and the more attention the more chances you will get pulled over.

It might hamper if you need to apply for jobs they will think your immature.

If you do decide to sell it you will practically have to give it away because something you think is sweet will not appeal to the target market that would be interested in buying it.
I know all this because I did a crazy spray can job to a old Power wagon I had and all three personally happened to me. I spray painted it be sure it was really really clean and I didn't want it to rust and after all three happened to me repeatly I brought the truck to maaco (after I sanded it down) and had them spray it for $199.00.

If I were you (and I'm making a suggestion not telling you what to do) remove as much trim as possible or stuff you don't want painted, scuff the old paint with the scotch bright pads till the clear coat is removed, wash the crap out of every nook and cranny (no soap or detergents), get the 3m painting tape and mask off stuff you don't want painted by them, and choose a color.
