Default Gearing....again

I say gearing again because this type of question is asked a lot but it's never helped me.
Here it is, I have a '91 Laredo auto with the 8.25 in the rear and I'm wondering if it would be worth to regear to 4.10 or get matching 4.10 axles from the junk yard. I'm on a college student budget.
I will have 33x10.5 tires on soon.

Ya, I knew that much lol. But would it be worth it since the tight budget? And should I do it the same time I put the lift kit on or just do it when I can

sure you could sell your old axles to someone for what you bought the 410 axles for. making the "regear'' very cheep its what im going to do

do you have the time to throw the axles in? how involved is your kit? im a big fan of only having big stuff like that apart only once so i say throw the axles at it with the lift and trow in som extended brake line while your at it since youll have to bleed the rear any how

IMO, 4.10s is the cheapest ratio to regear to. here is how i did it (pricing may vary)

-dana 30 housing + shafts- Free
-Knuckles, brakes, misc stuff to complete it- $40
-used 4.10s- $40
-used detroit locker- $150
-installation- $125
-install kit- $75

= $430

ford 8.8, 4.10 open - $100
ruff stuff simple swap kit- $130
pads and rotors- around $60?
1330-1310 combo u-joint- $20
extra passenger side brakeline- around$20?

=$330

total of $760. plus i sold off my old axles and recouped some money.

so yeah, hunt around for deals and you can do 4.10s on the cheap. im on 31s now with that setup but 33x10.5s are not far away. should be fine, although 4.56s would be ideal

if you can, i would recommend waiting until you are ready to do the lift, do it all at once. thats how i did it and i really liked doing it that way, by the time you unbolt the stuff to do the lift you arent far from removing the entire axle. might as well do it while you're in there

That's why I'm thinking to get them by the time I lift. I got a zone 4.5" full leaf pack kit
