no. 97+ is a pressurized plastic tank with a built in pump/fuel regulator.
you want a 96 prior metal tank that way you can use your stock pump and the pressure regulator on the fuel rail

i just bought an 88 to add to my collection, its done up pretty sweet but it has a 40 gallon fuel cell in the cargo area. it is cool but i dont want it in this one. i have a 98 parts cherokee and a stock 96 sport for my gf... more money needed..........

take the fuel cell and drop it half way through the floor that way it doesnt take up to much room but doesnt hang down to low.
