Default Front spring spacers on top of a 5.5" lift?

I have an OME / Rubicon Express 5.5" lift, and I just installed a big ol' winch bumper on the front. The front is now sitting about 0.5" - 1" lower in the front due to the extra weight. Any reason it's not recommended to to add 1" spring spacers to the front to level it back out again?

Thanks guys. Wound up going the cheap route and picked up a set of OME 0.75" spacers. I figure it'll make up the difference enough for my purposes. The adjustable ones look nice though.
