Front Ring and Pinion Question
Hey Everyone. So my question isn't about what gears to go with.. its more a question about the front axle. I have a HP Dana 30 with stock 3.55 gears in it right now. I am looking at going to 4.56 gears but when looking around I see an option for a Dana 30 with "reverse rotation" That is my question what does the Reverse rotation mean? Thank you for any information in advance. Ricky

The High-Pinion axle requires reverse rotation ring&pinion.
Low-Pinion requires standard rotation.
Low-Pinion requires standard rotation.

Reverse rotation is actually a mistake most make, it's actually reverse cut. Both high and low pinion rotate the same direction. It's a common mistake, kind of like all limited slips are called possies but technically wrong.
