So there isn't any nut hidden inside the frame rail I'll need to retrieve to put the new ones on? The bolt should just go through the bushing and thread into the hole in the frame right?

OP are you able to unscrew it but cant get it out of the bushing? if thats the problem and you can see the shaft, use a pair of pliers or vise grips, grip the bolt and use a hammer and try to tap it outa the hole.
if you cant even unscrew it do what Gee oh Dee said and use heat.
Holy crap my bad. Completely misunderstood that one!

Another thread, back from the dead.....

Sounds like you are going to cut a hole in the floor from the interior and bust the welded nut loose.

JMO: title should be; Leaf spring front bolt removal, lots more clear.

But it doesn't even look like you could reach it from the floor boards

I have my front bolt out about 1.5" and it spins no problem but I've tried tapping it out with hammers pry bars screw drivers everything. It will not budge from this spot the rear bolt came out with no problem. What's going in here

Try a crow bar and bend the leaf. It is no longer secured so it is not seated properly and the bolt may just need a better angle. Mine took some finagling to get out as well. Others have had worse luck and the bolt is completely stuck and needs to be sawed out.
