Default Front end fell on just upper control arms - are the fried? Video

Hey all - was swapping front ends and had the new one in supported only by the upper control arms, trying to get the LCAs hooked up when the front end fell off the jack. It kinda of swung down, further than I've seen the upper control arms go down before. Here's a video - are they screwed up or OK? I don't want to continue bolting up this axle if I'm just going to have to undo it all and replace the control arms.

Thanks all.

They should be ok , do they have rubber bushings ? It hard to see but they look like they have some sort of ball joint , do they have any play in the joint ?

Okay - to answer that very question, I pulled both UCAs. Here's the first:

And the second:

Second has WAAAY more play than the first, so it's got to be bad - I'm going to call the manufacturer (rough country) in the morning and see if the other one is also bad, because I've seen rebuild kits for like $25 each - that would be better than new UCAs!!

That's good that they are rebuild-able and that is cheaper then new ones .

Update - I called Rough Country and they said they were probably just fine. There's no denying these are some beefy arms. Figured maybe the looser one could use a rebuild but took them to my mechanic and he said they have a LOT of life left in then. One of them had the grease nipple thing broken off so he fitted a new one and greased them both up - good to go!!
