Default front driveshaft questions

so i have a tom woods in the rear with an sye in the tcase. i dont wanna pay another 300 for a front shaft. what other vehicles front stock shafts can i use that will be better fit for a 6.5" LA kit with the tom woods rear n sye in tcase. automatic. is there any cheaper after market companys? any other thoughts or advice? thanks get a slight vib at 70+ feels like its my front shaft.. either way id like something thats better for my setup then stretching my stock one all the way out.

i'm sure there's plenty of options from other vehicles, if u want cheap... take a measurement TC yoke to axle yoke & search for an equal length

also, if ur CA's are adjustable, u've got room for adjustment... cant find one that exactly matches, u can get one a little longer & adjust the CA's to compensate

My stock one works fine with 6-7" but I'm running a 44 front, but it was fine with my 30 front as well.

I run stock front shafts front and rear with 6" of lift. No issues and plenty of slip either way.

Another plus is they are cheap and easy to find and I only have to carry one spare shaft.

I had a driveline shop modify my front shaft. I'm running 6 inches of lift. The guy at the shop took some rough measurements and made the slip longer and the same style as the rear shaft (with the groves at the slip) for under 100$. I Have had no issues since. I think it's worth looking into if there's a shop near you.

Mine works great stock. But my shafts come from tattons shafts. Great quality, great warranty, and an even better price.

Do you have a lp or hp front? If it's a lp that could be your problem and the angles are just bad on it

its a high pinion d30. and what caused this question was the fact that i can feel a slight vibration/almost clunking-thud feeling in the floor boards n gas pedal when driving. i figured this was front my front shaft but it seems like its not. for all i know it could be nothing serious n just in my head for its been there since i put the new lift in, in june and iv run into no serious issues other then feeling it. anything else it could be?
