I am trying to find out how these get installed. My searches haven't provided me with much luck. Do these get sandwiched between the bumper's mount and the unibody or do they go over the bumpers mount. It doesnt look like there is much wiggle room between the mounts and rail to fit the plates on each side and if mounting them over the bumpers bracket there will be a gap. Any pics you guys have of these installed would be great thanks!

Could you give some detail on what you have, who made them. How about a manufacturer's number?

This is what I had done. I had the guy who made my bumper weld the mounting plates to the bumper. The plates are set-up to go down the outside of the unibody and bolt to existing bolts and bolt holes. The original bumper mount (front of unibody) was removed and those mounting points were not used.

IF frame tie-ins are not built into the bumper, they are meant to sandwich in between the uniframe rail and the bumper.

My rough country bumper mounts go on the outside of the frame rails but on the inside of the bumper tabs. So sandwiched between

They have good pictures of how they are mounted to the frame rail, bumper goes outside. These are designed to work with bumpers that use the stock 3 mounting holes per side, if you are using a bumper that uses more you will likely need to "make it fit". Mine has the Detours USA backbone (http://detoursusa.com/xjbackbone.php) with the C-Rock Steering Box Reinforcing Kit (http://www.c-rok4x4.com/). Apparently it was renamed to C-ROK Frame Repair and Reinforcing kit. There is still a little room to work, I could probably fit another outer frame plate on the passenger's side but it would be tight.
