Looking for a front bumper to replace the stock one on my 00 XJ. Need suggestions as I have only ever purchased a ARB bumper but I know that they are alternatives. I don't have a winch, however I do want one in the future.

Factory FOG lights will have to come off though. no problem there as I will use the wires to run the lights on the bumper and light bar.

Im running a nates4x4 recessed winch bumper. I absolutely love it, have had no problems with it. It holds up to rocks and trees on the road as well as the use of the winch. I also hit a deer while doing 70mph and it did nothing. Not a dent or scratch.

Don't go ARB. Extremelyyyyy overpriced and I hate the look of them on the XJ. Way too bulky

 

I love the arb bumpers. Pricey sure..strong..yes.

Most of the winch bumpers I've seen lately kill your approach angle.

Dude on here recently built a bumper where the winch mounts behind the front cross member. Super nice and very effective.
