just go measure your stock XJ line and add 3-5", if i recall YJ lines are roughly that much longer and i cant even come close to tightening the line at full flex with no sway bars at 4.5"

The extended line I have for my XJ are designed for 6.5" of lift so with me staying at 3.5" i doubt I'll ever have a line that gets too tight !

depends on how the suspension is set up.

i ran 25" hoses with a relocated hard line at anywhere between 2 and 6". the amount of travel i had didnt change, just the ride height.

When that line finally snaps while going down some off camber hill, it's going to be bad.

Did you relocate your brackets as well?

The stainless ones I got from IRO offroad are 27" long. Gives plenty of slack to flex out the front. I think the stock are 16" or 17" if I remember right.

And what exactly does a swaybar have to do with your brake line snapping? Is it a magical swaybar that stops the vehicle?
