frame tweaked? help?
Ok so start off with
96 cherokee
4.5in roughcountry longarm kit
so i just recently dropped my front axle ( D30 ) to remove stock track bar mount
replaced it with a new mount i bought from serious offroad.
and i know i got it back in the same place as the last one.
but i also knew that the hole was slightly further to the passenger side then my stock
so i compensated by adjusting my track bar out a bit.. had to go so far out that it was only 6 full turns in.. ( Is that enough threads?? doesnt seem safe almost... ) this got it centered compared to the front so i adjusted the draglink to make steering wheel straight.
anyways seemed fairly centered up front i was using my head lights as reference points.
then i looked at it from the back and using the rear tires as reference points the driver front sticks out like 1-2inches past the rear and the passenger front matches the rear..
what would cause that??
it seems like the whole front of my car is tweaked slightly to the driver side compared to the rear.
my logic to that being that the axle seems centered under my headlights but 2"inches driver compared to the rear..?
any help is appreciated.

you can bounce the front end up and down to get it to center, then turn the steering wheel to line the track bar up. you may need 2 people to do this.
you want to center the axle first so you know how far to adjust the track bar.
you can either eye ball it, or get out the tape.
