I've got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and currently I have a full 2.5 inch system (including the cat).
I plan on ordering these headers...

My question is does anyone know what the outlet size is? I'm hoping it might be 2.5 inch but there's a chance it could be 2.25.
Any input is appreciated!

its probably the same as stock. you can get knock offs of those for about half that price on ebay. i've seen ones with larger outlets that come with a new downpipe for the 00-01 but theyre much more $$.. forgot the brand tho.

Well, I'm not dead set on the Flow Daddy headers, I'm open to anything anyone has to suggest. It's just tough finding headers for the 00-01 model Cherokees. I think that anything from a TJ would probably fit but I'm not 100% sure.
Anyhow, if anyone has any better suggestions for headers (and down pipe?) I'm definitely open to hearing them.

Seems like a lot of people don't like Rusty's. May I ask why? I've never ordered from them before personally.
Anyhow, I've checked out the Banks Torque Tube headers for the 00-01 Cherokee which you can see here...
http://www.quadratec.com/products/17601_500_07.htm
Compare that to the Rusty's Flow Daddy headers here...

Do these things not look identical to you? They do to me... One of them (Banks) is just marked up substantially.

Every part I have ordered from rustys has failed in a relatively short period due to poor quality. Not to mention outrageous shipping prices and poor customer service unless your buying.
Leaf springs on my Yj failed after a week. Metal impuritys they snapped on my first trip out. It took months to get replacements by then I was running RE.
On my Tj the tierod wallowed out where the ends screw in within a month. They would not warranty cause the bar was not bent.

With a lifetime warranty and good customer service it's worth paying the extra money so I'll just go the Banks route. Last thing I need is cracked headers!

Its good. I will take it any day over some rustys trash. I have the torquetube header that runs into their banks "monster muffler " (straight through) . That setup paired with the 4.6l stroker results in spontaneous yeeeehaaaww when the skinny pedal is applied. Lol
