First time lift questions
i just bought a 96 cherokee 5spd and have been looking at lifts but im not sure how big i could go without putting on a slip yolk eliminator? could i go 3.5? my leafs are sagged should i get add a leaf or will they not support it and need to get full leaf packs.

If ur leafs are saggy then u should go with full leaf packs. 3.5 is really the highest u can go with out needing a sye, u may not evn need a tcase drop since 5 speeds tcase's sits 1/2"lower then an auto. And if u do get vibs at 3" of lift then a simple tcase drop or shims should correct the problem, also make sure to check ujoints also as bad ujoints can create vibs. once u pass 3.5" of lift it starts to get expensive

I have been doing the same research.
Myself, I decided on an RC 3". Talk to Grimus99XJ. He can get you a great price on it. Cheaper than Rusty's by almost $70.00
I also choose full leaf packs. My rear leafs are sagging and an add a leaf helps for a short time. But sags badly within 8 months.

Your Always better with buying a spring pack kit... that comes with the new leaf springs... and everything els you need to lift your xj... my brother and i are putting a 4in Ruff Country lift on his truck this week and were getting the spring pack... i'll let you know how it works out for us.. and post some pics

But I just found rc more to my liking

Having just completed the research, I found Rusty's to be more expensive when comparing RC 3" and Rusty's 3".
Rusty's kit = $438
Shipped = $571.12 to Colorado
RC = $506 shipped
