I'm planning on getting those flares too got any pics of how they mount I keep hearing that is the weak spot.

There is no weak spot on how they mount. People automatically cry cause they aren't a direct bolt on, typical XJ owners...

That's odd, most of the XJ owners I've ever talked to are the ones busting out a grinder to make something fit or cutting out rockers to replace them with box tubing.
I think what you probably meant to say was "typical JK owners..." LOL

I mean a large majority of the XJ builds seem like that to me, roof racks, lights, Rough Country parts, list goes on, the worst is how they all seem to cheap out on parts lol. JKs arent no better either, youre right haha.

the thing is ... JK's are road queens.. They're too nice and expensive to wheel.

Don't get me wrong, it takes all types.... I think it's cool when anyone takes it upon themselves to learn and modify their own vehicle to their needs no matter how they do it (and I could possibly be just a little jealous of these really pretty $50k JK Rubicons, even though a lot of them will only get dirty when it rains...).

on the inside of the fender when doing some serious flexing off road.

There is a pinch seam in the wheel well that you can cut and hammer flat. If it's something else, just try to replicate it on a jack or lift and visually inspect. May need to get a little creative. But bumpstops will solve it either way.
