Default Fan clutch/Radiator mods

Got sick of dealing with the screwed up cooling system on my 1990. Decided to upgrade to a 1994 XJ radiator and a 1995 WJ 4.0 fan clutch. Install was a bolt in, fan clutch clearance was a little tight but man did it move air! Cooling system worked great, until I twisted up the suspension and this happened

"this" doesn't sound good, but I think he forgot an intended picture. I'm guessing his fan met the rad from the title.
Classic issue if the motor mounts are worn.

I figured as much. My response more of a, "hint hint, you missed that attachment"

I bet you're right though.

Yes the fan hit the radiator. Bad motor mounts. Replaced them with energy suspension pieces and also moved the radiator forward about 1/2 inch. Had pictures but can't find them now. Basically redrilled the upper holes about 1/2" fwd, then removed the lower radiator strap, cut off the post mounts and moved them back about 1/2" and rewelded them. Hind sight it would have been better to weld up lower mounting holes and redrill them fwd, but as my mom used to say "hindsight is always 20/20!"
