OR Fab bumpers are available
I had been wanting an OR fab bumper for my XJ since I got it. I had always heard they went out of business so they were now unavailable. I found out they had been purchased by DV8 Off-road. Called em up, had a bumper sitting at my door 3 days later. Maybe it was common knowledge to everyone but me? Just wanted to let folks know in case. I’m not affiliated with the company whatsoever, but their customer service was great.

Exactly. I got on OR Fab’s website, found a phone number. They answered DV8 off-road. Told me I they had purchased OR Fab. I asked about the bumper, he said he had like 7 left. He sounded surprised when I told him the website said “out of stock” for the bumper.

For those of us who don't have $900 for a bumper. And have skillz.

Look guys I have seen them all . It really doesn't matter if its $500 or $900 the point is ya don't need to spend it, make your own . You don"t even need to spend $350 on a kit go to a scrap yard and get some scrap. DIYS

Not to get too off topic here, but who really cares? Some people prefer driving their Jeeps more than working on them and possibly have no interest in learning fabrication skills. I bought my front (JCR) and rear (OR-Fab) bumpers, but I made several pairs of half doors and did my 2X6 sliders, so I guess I'm in between. Also, when I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, alone with just a winch, I rather depend on a bumper made from a company who seriously knows how to make tow points that won't fail. I could try it myself, but I rather just go to a pro when it comes to getting me home.
