Im fitting 35s on my 3.5 lift and am basically looking for the longest bumpstops i can find so that i can cut to custom length. Better too long than too short ya know? Iv found a rear bumpstop that's factory look and 4.1in long but don't know how much longer that is from factory. Also, for the front im not looking to put in pucks. Would like to just buy extended fronts that i can screw on where the stock ones go. Im sure some people on here have been through this before. Anyone know where to get them?

 

Prothane coil spring inserts from Jegs or amazon. For the rear you will probably want to build a tower on the u bolt plate or the axle tube to hit the bumpstop, you won't hit it on 35's and that Little up travel.

 

prothane front for rear quadratec sells extended snubbers (frame part) then you will have to buid some sort of bump plate dpg sells some as does liquid iron but some common sense ingenuity works

 

That's exactly what I ordered, except for the prothane, I ordered Daystar extended bump stops.

 

How much more extended are they from the stock rear? Im looking at the 4.1 length one. Seems like stock size though

 

their not much bigger thats why you need some sort of contact plate on top of the u-bolt plate

 

They are much bigger, but he is right^^^ you do need to fab up a contact plate.

 

If you can't make you own I got a set with my lift from DPG.

 

Weld a bike peg onto axle and use stock or the 4.1 rear stops. I can always trim if needed

Up country rear is taller than most like the rest said build stop plate off u bolt plate.
Whats wrong with hockey pucks ?They work well.

 

check this out. I used an extended bump stop from quadratic, I think it was around 4 inches. And I welded a piece if .25 in plate to the u bolt plates, for it to hit. This works with 33s. You may have to bolt a hockey puck in top of the plate for 35s.

 

Yeah i see what yall are saying. I think im gonna go with the peg though. It will be taller than the extended built plate and if its too tall i can cut the bumpstop

 

i don't see the peg idea working as well. It's a tiny spot for the bump to hit, I'd be afraid of a. The bump sloping off if it, b. the bump ripping off when it slides off of it, and c. The fact that you have to weld it to your axle tube.
