Why its not hard to make a bastard pack and when you don't use the entire leaf pack you can get an ok pack built with almost any leafs

 

Great post Caldwell. When you got your packs from the JY, how much of a "smile" did the arch have? What was your receipt for assembly? How many leafs did you use and what vihicle did those 3/4 ton springs come off? It sit's perfect!

its a terrible idea to use the whole pack. As with any leafs packs from bigger vehicles, its ok to use SOME of the leafs (as long as they fit). If you use the whole pack from an F-250 on an XJ, can you think of why that might be a poor idea?

 

Leaf pack i used was pretty much flat installed on the vehicle. I used a total of 6 leafs. The stock XJ upper, ford 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. gained me 3" of lift and rides stiff until you have 250+ lbs in the back.
