Minimal if any but a big boost in throttle response. I stomp on it and its there almost immediately no delay.

2 things: 1st, My ex-father in law owns a machine shop. So the engine work, with his help cost next to nothing. (Cost of beer which was prolly just as much as the machine work). I would say for 2000 - 2500 bucks you could build an engine that would last forever with good maintenance. 2nd thing, save money for things you simply cannot do yourself. Here is a picture of an intake I made for less than 5 bucks (besides the cost of the filter) Its an exhaust adapter with some pipe for the hose connections.

interesting article... Says the 99+ intake manifold lost power on there dyno lol

That article has been tossed around a lot and there is some write ups about it. With just the intake manifold yes you probably will see a loss. With all the upgrades I've done there is a gain.

I have 703's and a bored t-body. Think ill notice an improvement with the newer intake manifold? This thing is a dog.
