Electric Power Steering Pump
So I have the Durango steering box and a ZJ steering pump which I bough of Amazon, and that pump is leaking like hell, I have tried everything and the damn thing keeps leaking fluid all the time. I am going to buy a new pump but I though it would be interesting to have a electric pump and see if there is any improvement over the mechanical pump or if anyone has ever done it.
Thoughts?

Over in other car worlds, a lot of people use the older Toyota MR2 power steering pump as an electric conversion. Its pretty cool cause it doesnt connect in line to the steering shaft like the Saturn and Prius pumps. It pretty much just has an input and output line, like a normal PS pump but is driven by an electric motor. I think it would be cool to see someone do it on a Jeep.

You can look in to the Electric Power Steering Pump from the dodge charger they have the pump you want . I don't know what it would take to install it though .
