electric fan controller
those of you with electric fans and that have the sensor already in the t-stat housing where are you putting the sensor for the electric fan? probe in radiator or sensor in upper hose? i have a 2000 and I'm looking to do an electric fan set up.

Yeah, I struggled with this for a while as the options are problematic. There's a tstat housing you can get (just search high flow thermostat) that has an extra port or an in-line adapter for your upper rad house. The issue with both of those is for whatever insane reason they are tapped 1/8npt. Finding a switch 1/8npt to suit your needs is going to drive you nuts. I'll see if I can dig the up the link for the one I used.

This where the old days of open/closed circuit "thermistor sensors" was advantageous. Solder a circuit to a relay and just black tape it to the side of a hose and you were good to go.
