Just finishing up the Durango steering box mod. I filled the res. with the enging off and turned it lock-to-lock 22 times.
I started it and it quickly quieted down, but when I tried to turn the steering wheel, it wanted to fight against me. I quickly noticed it and did not force it or anything, I just stopped.
I shut it off and saw inside the resivour and it looked foamy. Does anyone have a clue if that sounds like I swapped the line orientation? Finishing it up tomorrow morning, thank you!

I did the steering box swap a few weeks back and the hoses go in the Durango box just like they did the XJ box. I'm sure you can find a pic of an XJ box for reference. My fluid got a little foamy also at first but it didn't fight me that I recall. Try popping off your drag link at the pitman arm, or lifting both front wheels up, then turn it with the engine on. If you're getting resistance at that point something's definitely wrong but hopefully if just needs a little more attention.
