Driving with vibes
I am finally going to get an RE HnT SYE installed with a custom DS. I found a place that will do it for a decent price. Problem is it won't be till the third week of October. My vibes aren't to horrible, and sometimes I don't even feel them. Is it ok to drive that long with my vibes? I know they will eat ujoints, but will they go bad in a little over a month? Also, they are getting replaced with the SYE and DS anyway. Will the vibes hurt anything else, like the tcase output shaft? Or the rear diff? Also, any opinions on the RE HnT? Thanks.

i drove for a year with vibes. it only vibrated at 58 mph. so it only happened when i was getting on the highway. BUT...
When i installed my SYE this summer i found many hairline cracks in the old tail housing. but the bearings inside were all fine. so it was just that and the ujoints in the driveshaft that were bad.

I've run my XJ with 4-4.5", auto and Dana35 with vibes (more at and above 80km/h (50mph-ish lol) for atleast a month now and so far haven't caused any problems or play in u-joints (had it in the air and checked it today). I'm hoping to swap the rear and do a HnT by winter..
