Driving with 3.55s and 4.10s

Engine: 4.0 HO
Driving with 3.55s and 4.10s
I want/need to swap in my 8.8 rearend with 4.10 gears. Is it safe to drive with the 3.55 gears in the front end with the front driveshaft out? Can't afford to swap the front right now.
