HEY EVERYONE!

I JUST FINISHED INSTALLING ANOTHER 4 INCHES OF LIFT ON MY RIG (BRINGING IT TO 8 1/2) AND SWAPPING MY 8.25 FOR A FORD 8.8 WITH A LS AND 4:10 GEARS. MY PROBLEM NOW IS I NEED A LONGER DRIVE SHAFT. I ALREADY KNOW A SYE AND CV SHAFT IS THE WAY TO GO BUT IM ON A BUDGET RIGHT NOW. IM LOOKING FOR A DRIVE SHAFT THAT IS ABOUT TWO INCHES LONGER THAN STOCK THAT I CAN USE UNTIL I GET THE FUNDS TO COMPLETELY UPGRADE THAT AS WELL. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ABOUT WHAT VEHICLES I SHOULD BE LOOKING AT FOR A DONOR SHAFT? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Would need to get the ds lengthened most likely, which is about $100.

Or get a full SYE like a man :P
And you can use a Junk yard drive shaft.

you can't really "get by" with an 8" lift. you need a proper permanant solution
so HnT or full SYE and a retubed/lengthened stock front XJ/ZJ shaft at your local driveline shop

X2 find a local driveline or fab shop and have them lengthen a stock front ds. And don't you need some sort of adapter for the 8.8?

yeah you need a couple things for the 8.8
you can find the adapter for less than $40 though. I know westcoastdifferential sells them for $30
