Default drive shaft

do i need to change both drive shaft if i lift a jeep cherokee to 6.5in or do i just need to change the rear

You'll need to change more than just the shaft. Some get by with a stock shaft and t-case drop with that much lift but it's pushing it. With a SYE it requires a new CV type telescoping shaft.

I used a stock front driveshaft for my rear after installing my SYE. Works fine
