double shackle safe or sorry?

wanted to see what you guys think of doing double shackles using the stock shackle in a putting a after market 2 inch attached to that. I cant get the top shackle bolt out (thats through the frame) its rusted big time and wont move will this work?

No i mean like shackle extensions that are 1.5 or 2 inchs just bolting that to the stock shackle.

it can be done not recommended to drive around on but it dose make it so you can move it out of the shop to get another rig in but yeah use a braker bar when i did my shakle it felt like i whas going to break my torque wrench but i would say get some shakle relocation brackets thats what im waiting for

Some Toyota guys do it for more droop, but they're trail only rigs for the most part. I would think having doubled shackles on an XJ would cause the drive shaft to bind up at full droop because it's a shorter shaft than the Toyota's.

Putting two shackles together is not considered safe on a street rig and can be dangerous on a trail rig too. It tends to let the body roll too much and and then go past the center of gravity. Rolling a rig on the street is
