Does this look ok?
I'm going to go pick up an axle today that has a Powertrax no slip installed. Here is a picture that was sent to me from the owner. I don't know much about lockers, but something looks off here... I'm referring to how the two middle sections don't look like they are lined up perfectly. I was hopping that someone with more knowledge on the subject could weigh in. Thanks.

Does look a bit off and it also looks like a Lockright or Detroit EZ locker. Hard to tell till you get it apart and see all the inner springs, which the Lockright and Detroit EZ don't have.

A search on Google images doesn't find any Powertrax No Slip that looks like that or any where the sides don't line up.
On the other hand the guy probably wouldn't have sent you a picture of it if he thought there was something wrong with it. Could be from when he was installing and just hadn't lined up everything yet.

Had a Lockrite Power Trax in my TJ a couple years ago.... It may be installed incorrectly, the center sections should be flush together & the ratcheting (sides) are the parts that lock & unlock. (if memory serves correct. Doesn't look like it was ever driven though, no wear marks anywhere that i can see from the picture...
Has the previous owner ever used the axle?
He may not have know how to install it properly
if you need a few parts you can probably just order them up.
** looking at it again, that may not be the correct one for an 8.25, looks like it's tight on the pin, pin looks to be too large for the unit **

Ok yea I had the same thought. Why would he send me a picture is it was messed up? Well I toss it under my jeep and if it is messed up, I'll replace it with some spiders. I was after the axle itself, the locker was just a bonus.

They have some play in them there. It appears to be fine.
The pins that you see in the pictures are bad about breaking. If they're in good shape then you should be fine.
