The lift itself doesn't affect gas mileage, the tires the larger tires that accompany the lift do. Rough Country makes a cheaper 3" lift that many people have had great sucess with.

I think I told him the gas mileage thing already.

I like my BDS lift, its one of the best 3" lifts available.

I ran a different 3" for awhile and it worked great. I got about 16-18 MPG, less if i took it out and beat on it every other day . You will love it as a DD/weekend wheeler

BDS=$$$$$
BDS provides great suspension systems... if you have alot of coin. If you plan to go higher get a cheaper kit that can be upgraded for less money. If you plan on staying at 3" get a nice lift like BDS, if not start simple.

More than likely you will need a sye and the gears depend on what size tire you want to run.

A 4.5 inch lift is alot more $ than you think. (ask me how i know). I needed a driveline mod at 3" and i did a dirtbound offroad HNT at 4.5. I used a stock front shaft that i beefed up with better U-joints for the rear. Im running 31" and i like it. I DD it every day and have no problems. (school is 45 minutes away)

You forgot one of the best companies, Rubicon Express. (now back in business)
And full packs on all of those kits bring the price up a bunch.
