Do I need......
shackle relocation brackets?
I've pieced together my 4 inch lift front end and now working on the rear.
I'm purchasing 4.5" lift rear leaf packs. I have no intention of doing Moab in this lifetime.
I don't need 10 inches of drop.
It's mostly for the occasional forest romp and the winter snow.
I ask because I did a bastard lift on my 99 using S10 leaves and found that the stock shackle angle was almost 90 degrees. My bud who bought, it sometimes complains about the harsh ride.
Will new leaf packs need to have the rear shackle relocated?
Or does the new leaf pack have a longer top leaf to compensate for the lift?

it will definitely make your ride quality a lot better....I've ridden in an XJ before and after it had the relocation brackets and it was a lot smoother with them
