Im with this guy. Jeeps dont need finned diff covers, as I have NEVER heard or seen a jeep burn diff fluid. Those are more for cars where the axle is pretty well hidden, and have significantly more hp then our Jeeps have. Also for Bro-trucks where they lift it and drive around on the street with no intent to see offroad EVER. If you want a good diff cover, look at the SOLID ones. They are a good thick cover, allow more fluid, and take a ridiculous amount of abuse.

They make them for the D44 and they come stock on some trucks like the Titan.

I always preferred a steel cover on the front since I am a bad driver and have a tendency to bash into things.

Me too, I better get one soon the way I drive

I want to get the G2 one as someone mentioned.. Made in USA and looks beefy for sure!! $130 shipped for the Black/Red one http://www.ebay.com/itm/G2-Axle-and-...JXX473&vxp=mtr

This steel one looks beefy too, its hard to decide!! This one looks alittle stronger IMO than the g2 since the G2 is aluminum. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JEEP-WITH-CH...JVASa3&vxp=mtr Here is the specs on the steel one "3/8 THICK FORGED STEEL WITH RIBS RED POWDER COATED AND FILL PLUG LOCATED HIGHER THAN STOCK FOR A HIGHER FLUID CAPACITY, KIT INCLUDES FLANGED HEX BOLTS RECESSED FILL PLUG AND RTV" hmmmm temping!!

Pardon the slight derial, but nice front bumper Fred.

I'm having mine built right now, looks almost the same except D-Rings and I have a front hitch tube.

Make sure that your bumper ties into the sub frame back where you can bolt it more for the hitch. At this point you could still add D-Ring mounts to your bumper, I bought my mounts from Rustys and beefed up that area some more and welded them on.
