difference between 96 and 2000 fender flare kits

difference between 96 and 2000 fender flare kits
I have an opportunity to buy some used flat fender flares in great shape ( Napier Precision Products) off of a 96 4 door xj. My question is will they work on a 2000 4 door xj ? I cant see any visible difference between the fender sizes and shape. Thanks for your help.
