You might have damaged it or the gasket is defective and you should have it replaced. I've never heard anyone complain that their lubelocker wouldn't stop leaking.

Did you check to make sure there isn't anything between the layers? It's very difficult to make a new physical gasket leak. They are generally very reliable since adhesion isn't necessary.

Ill just stick with silicone. Never had any problems with it. The lubelocker came with my gears so I figured I'd give it a try.

Another vote for lubelocker. If it is leaking, then either install error or defect. They do have a warranty. But, I agree that it is much less time consuming and makes me more willing to want to service my diffs.

Just like other gaskets, improper torque, overtightning etc. can cause leaks/failure. So, YES, it can be installed INCORRECTLY.

am i seeing this correctly. is that a solid diff cover on my jeep with a 1.5" tie rod. no it cant be because the internet experts say it doesn't clear

What a *******. I've got Lubelockers on every solid axle I own and every pair of axles I've built for my Jeep. They're awesome. I run solid diff covers. Hard to beat for the price.
