Wheels are balanced and tires are fairly old and have a lot of dry rot this could be the problem maybe I will rotate the rears are a lot better

Yeah rotate them and see if that helps. You may be looking at some new rubber in your near future

No, I don't think so, if anything it might cause the drag link to be to long making it so steering wheel wasn't even. Do you have a track bar relocation bracket?
