Default dashboard fuse

i have 1997 suddenly the dashboard light not working so i check the fuse it was blown so i put another one and still the dashboard light not working, so what i should do next?

Check your headlight switch for any burnt terminals on the connector. One of them is usually bad shape if you have an issue like that. There is a replacement harness that can be purchased online if yours is that bad. If it doesn't look too bad, might try the headlight switch first as that is common to fail.

If you have no dash lights, you probably don't have parking lights either...have you checked ?

the headlight and brake light is working just the dashboard light isn't working.

I said parking lights...not headlights or brake light. (1st detent when you pull the headlight switch out)

not the same thing.


Do you have lights at all 4 corners & the license plate without turning the headlights on or touching the brake pedal ?
