I would have had the non disco front axle then, from the factory in 1987, with a D44 rear...

Not too many of those around.

Lmao. My Jeep is an 85, was stolen, stripped, rebuilt and retitled as an 87 cause that's what the donor was. I got a D44 rear, non disco D30 and AMC242. So maybe that "rare" one was my donor?

Not the Cherokees. They were all D30s.

Aaaaah I was under the impression it was d44 front and rear :x. What would be a good axle to swap into the front? 79 f250 hp d44?

Depends on what rear you get.

That one would be full width.

I thought so. I like the width of the stock Cherokee axles. Are waggy axles worth the swap in?
