i got a customer on 33 km2s locked running a d35 rear on his xj... he is a featherfoot has no issues...I blew up a few d35s in my yj.. i think it has alot more to do with driving style ...for what you are doing you SHOULD be fine

dammit n2o i miss florida...you want another tech? comes with a shop full of equiptment including tube bender, sheetmetal breaks,rollers, bead roller, welders,11,000 lbs lift and the know how to use all of it..

The Dana 35 works OK, but I would never spend a dime on one. If you want to add lockers, or go up in tire size buy a JY Chrysler 8.25. I know guys on this forum run Dana 35s and haven't had problems with them, but I've wheeled with a guy running 235s locked that broke them just turning on rock, no extra gas, just going up a smooth rock and turning left.
