I was also thinking it looks like the tie rod will contact the diff cover.

Have somebody turn the wheel while you're under the watching what's going on and see what's stopping it from turning farther.

If it is the tie rod it looks like you could get more clearance on it by moving the tie rod to the top of the knuckles.
