I have a dana 44 and im planing on doing the crown vic disc brake upgrade. (writeup) in order to do this i would need to get the tj retainer plate, but i just found a deal on some shafts out of a tj that allready have the retainer plate on them, is there any reason this wouldnt work?

I'm almost positive there the same

shaft lengths are the same, the retainer plates are different

 

yup same shafts - alloy shafts from superior are the same for the XJ and TJ
