Are you currently running full circle clips on the 297 or 760 u joints? $50 upgrade + some labor

My issue with running stock 1/2 moon clips was binding up the joint & spitting out the clip. This resulted in throwing caps & destroying the ears on both the stub & axle shafts. It took two times before I figured out my issue. I'm slow to the party.
Sad thing is I remember reading about this upgrade years ago. Long before I wheeled hard enough to need it.

Going to chrome moly shafts puts a lot more stress on the ring gear. Personally, I'd rather replace $30 jy axle shafts than have to deal with a broken ring gear ESPECIALLY on a trail.
