Default Cutting rear fenders higher then cut and fold??

I am moving my rear axle 2-3 inchs back with a custom leaf pack im having built. This is making the rear tire too far back to tuck into my wheelwells. Also, i prefer to have more then 1-2 inchs of up travel im have for my setup.(running 35s on 2 inchs of lift in the rear)

My question is does anyone have more info on making new rear wheel wells?
Will cutting that pinch seem ruin the integrity of the unibody?

I will be plating the "frame" soon after i make new fender wells, and by the end of summer i should be able to afford steel to build a cage.
If anyone has personally done this or has links, please chime in.
Thanks

Search for whats called a "comp cut" either here or on pirate in the cherokee section, as a matter of fact I looked at one in the build section this weekend that had done a higher cut and built new inner fenders in the rear incorporating flares also, looked good. was called project big red.

Thanks, yea i have seen the comp cut before but didnt really like how that looks without full widths. I simply want to have similar shaped wells to the stock, only 3-4 inches taller. Ill check out that build thread. Thanks again

Cut your inner fender at the floor and across the top. Take the back piece and move it where you want then weld it. Take more metal and connect them back together and to the floor. Cut the exterior to size and weld it.
What you have there is new bigger fender openings

We are talking about doing inner fenders not cutting the unibody man. You aren't driving a pile of egg shells, weld it and you'll be fine

And alright, alright, I just know alot of people talk about bending/cracking/breaking the body/"frame". Even with the rear lower quarter pannel people argue about loosing alot of integrity.. Just making sure/getting opinions. No reason to get upset about it.
