Cut my fenders. Wanna see?
So I got my 33" BFG KO2s today and on the way home I heard rubbing on the way. Luckily it wasn't a long or bumpy ride home. Got home and saw my Driver rear was rubbing. I knew I had to cut them but I didn't think I would have to for street rides. No biggie. Cut my fenders and had a blast in the process. I'm glad I did it my self because I think I learned a lot and I didn't have any one to ask "help me" which was nice to learn how to do it.
9 pics in total. Loaded the album to My Photos on here to make adding them easier. Enjoy guys and gals
Driver Front Before.
Driver Front After.

Got the best 33 in there nicely I think
PS: Can you guess which one I cut first?!

Poor guy, haha, he just wanted more clearance. Their are spot welds that hold the rear of the body together in the fender. You cut them off so now the body is separated from the fender. You got a welder? You learn even more while you go through the process of fixing this.

No I cut them down. I read on another post/forum about someone who used a material to cover the cuts and smooth them out and I liked the idea. So I have it bookmarked on my computer and I wanted to try that. I did read about cut and fold but I didn't want to do that is all.

I read about folding and about someone who covered the edges in a material and smoothed it out that way. I wanted to give that a try. When I get home from work I can try to find it and link it. But honestly with all these awesome replies for doing something different and for the first time. I doubt I will hah.

Nah. Was just the first one I did. It looks a bit better after I went back and touched it up and smoothed it a bit. Maybe the pic makes it looks worse. I think it does.
