For what its worth, here is what I did...
Rusty's 3"HD coils and struts: netted 3.5" without a winch but with a heavy bumper and stinger/hoop. Cost about $150 IIRC.
S15 spring pack (same as S10), cut the eyes off and got rid of the overload. Stacked top XJ leaf on top and bolted it all back in (s10 bastard pack). Cost about 30-40 bicks for the S15 springs, kept the stock shackles and all else. The back sits level with the front, though measured lift was 5.5 ( origional leaves were sagging. Net lift was probably same as front: 3.5")
I had grabbed some lift shocks for the rear of unknown source from an XJ going to the scrap yard.
Used a strip of sheet metal to lower the rear brake line mount on the body side. Front looks ok. Rusty's has a brake lone relocate kit for 10 bucks though.
Had a bit of advice given to me. If you have an end goal in mind, go for that and save time, money, and busted knuckles. Of course, if you have been given parts its a little different, but that whole lift, trimmed
fenders, raised stock fender flares, and whatnot came to less than $200. Cant buy a set of new rear leafs for that.
Only things I have left that I want to add now is 'special' LCAs: Rustys will make up a set that are will have clearance for the lift and for using stock rims. Im going with a flex.joint on the body side and a bushing on the axle.side so the arm will rotate with the axle (maintaining tire clearance).
When I did my fenders I got rid of the flare mounts (nuts broke off anyway) and used a hole saw to pop some holes for self.tapping screws. The front wasnt necessary as it ended.up being pop rivets from the back side ( so it couldnt catch on the tire), but they match anyway. I cut off the metal fenders up to the second to the last bend, then rolled the steel over twice ( turns out to be 1/2-3/4" folds). this makes it so there are no rough edges ( figure that if the fenders get hit by a tree or something I dont want anything that can cut the tires)

and for coils, order some v-8 coils for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. although that may be a little more lift than you intended, it is around 4.5 in the front, but the pair cost me like 125 brand new at advanced.

Thank guys, well budget is not so much a concern, as ride, but i want to keep it reasonable.
After more thought, i think i'm going to order the old man emu 2" kit. given that i've ordered the shackle relocation brackets, and i need a longer shackle to clear those, that is going to give me about 1.75" of lift. factoring in, another 3/8" from the ford 8.8, that will put me at about 4.25".
For the front, I'll do a 1.75" spacer, putting me at 3.75ish.. Depending on how much rake the rear has, I can adjust the shackle angle I suppose.
Not sure yet about using a spacer in front, or ordering the rustys coils.

GC V8 coils will only provide 1-2" (max) lift over a set of stock XJ coils.
